Brainfuse HelpNow is a comprehensive suite of online learning assistance tools. The best part? You can use it for free with your Schaumburg Library card.
“HelpNow is a real life-saver for so many teens,” says Teen Librarian Dan Schnepf. “We often recommend the live tutoring for students who need a little extra help with homework.”
Live online tutors are available from 2-9 p.m. everyday. All HelpNow tutors have a four-year degree, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and are trained and certified through Brainfuse.
HelpNow’s Flashbulb section has a huge selection of flashcards and study activities for history, math, language and other subjects. You can even change it up and turn the flashcards into a matching game, crossword puzzle or other fun activities to best fit your learning style.
Other HelpNow services include the Writing Lab, for expert feedback on your written work within 24 hours; SkillSurfer, for quizzes and practice tests for all ages (including AP tests and college entry tests); MEET, a way to study with friends in a private, virtual study room; and more.
Give HelpNow a try today. You can use HelpNow from the Library, from home or anywhere you have an internet connection. Have your Schaumburg Library card handy – you’ll need to enter your card number and PIN for access.
