Brainfuse partners with New Jersey school districts to design and deliver research-based, high-impact tutoring programs aligned to the NJDOE Learning Acceleration Program High-Impact Tutoring Grant, supporting math and ELA acceleration for eligible students in grades 3–8.
Live tutors with subject-area expertise in math and ELA, supported by training, coaching, and ongoing performance monitoring. District oversight and background check requirements are supported.
One-to-one or small-group tutoring (up to three students per tutor), delivered multiple times per week and aligned to grade-level standards.
Tutoring that fits district needs, including during the school day (outside contractual time where applicable), after school, summer, or hybrid implementation within the grant period.
Formative assessment and progress monitoring aligned to state assessment categories, with reporting structures that support interim and final grant requirements.
AI tools may support instruction or logistics, but tutoring is always led by live educators. AI-only tutoring models are not used.
This grant opportunity is limited to New Jersey Local Education Agencies serving students in grades 3–8 whose average proficiency on the 2024–2025 NJSLA in ELA and mathematics was below 50 percent.
