High school students studying for the AP exams coming up in May can get help from online tutors provided by the Nashua Public Library.

All they need to do is go to nashualibrary.org/homework.htm and log onto Homework HelpNow! between 4 pm and 11 pm.

At the AP level, tutors are available with expertise in calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, Spanish, English, and history.

Anyone can use the service while using Nashua Public Library computers. To access it on other computers, users need a Nashua Public Library card.

About the Tutors

HelpNow! tutors are hired by Brainfuse.™ Preference is given to certified teachers and people with prior tutoring experience. Tutors are tested for proficiency in their subject areas and for the ability to convey ideas clearly online. They receive ongoing training in Brainfuse’s instructional techniques and New Hampshire educational standards.

A Safe Online Environment

Before being hired, tutors undergo a criminal background check, and Brainfuse contacts all references and previous employers. No personal information is obtained from the student during tutoring. Brainfuse monitors and evaluates the tutors’ work and reviews transcripts of sessions.
